The 0.20 and 0.25m³ scoops need a truck rated for at least 1250kg, and the 0.40 and 0.50m³ scoops need at least 1750kg. Loose material is heavier than it looks: a cubic metre of sand or gravel weighs roughly 1.5 to 1.7 tonnes, so a full 0.50m³ scoop carries around 750 to 850kg before you add the scoop itself. Choose the size your truck handles comfortably rather than the biggest one, and ask your forklift dealer for the truck's capacity with the attachment fitted if you're unsure.
