It slides onto the forks and anchor bars drop in behind the fork heels, so it can't creep forward along the forks while it's carrying a load.

The hook sits at a fixed 600mm or 900mm from the fork heel, so the lifting point is in the same place every time. It comes with a hook and shackle, and there are no moving parts to maintain.

Specifications

Model

Capacity

Reach from fork heel

FMH-600-1.0

1000kg

600mm

FMH-900-1.0

1000kg

900mm

FMH-600-2.0

2000kg

600mm

FMH-900-2.0

2000kg

900mm

FMH-600-3.0

3000kg

600mm

FMH-900-3.0

3000kg

900mm

FMH-600-5.0

5000kg

600mm

FMH-900-5.0

5000kg

900mm

Max fork size

160 x 80mm

Fork spread (outside to outside)

713mm

Retention

Anchor bars behind the fork heels

Supplied with

Hook and shackle

Standards

UKCA and CE marked, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, supplied with a Certificate of Conformity

Warranty

3 years

Before You Order

Choose a hook rated for your heaviest load, then check your forklift's capacity at 600mm or 900mm. A forklift can lift less the further the load sits from the heel, so the lower of the two figures is your safe working limit. Lift loads straight up rather than dragging them, and include the hook in your LOLER thorough examinations.

The fork pockets take forks up to 160mm wide and 80mm thick, set 713mm apart outside to outside.
