It's driven by its own axle as it rolls, so there's no electrical or hydraulic connection to make and nothing to wire into the truck.

A flow control lever sets how much salt goes down, and a galvanised mesh guard and rain cover keep the hopper safe and the salt dry. Outside the winter months it works as a seed, fertiliser or grass spreader too, so it earns its keep all year.

Specifications

Model

SSM-190L

Hopper capacity

190 litres

Hopper size

890 x 890 x 685mm (W x L x H)

Drive

Axle driven, no electrical or hydraulic connection

Towing

Standard ball hitch or towing pin

Supplied with

Flow control lever, galvanised mesh safety guard and rain cover

Also spreads

Seed, fertiliser and grass seed

Before You Order

For gritting, use dry white rock salt only.
