Forklift Sweepers

Forklift sweepers turn the forklift you already have into a yard sweeper. Slide one onto the forks and push: the brush gathers dust, sand, gravel, mud, leaves and snow into a pile ready to collect, keeping yards, car parks, loading bays and warehouse floors clean without hours of hand sweeping.

Our 1800mm broom sweeper comes in three duties, each UK made with replaceable polypropylene bristles and a 3-year warranty.

Sweeper Bristle rows Fixing Best for
Economy broom sweeper 5 T screw clamps Warehouse floors and light debris
Medium duty broom sweeper 8 T screw clamps Outdoor yards, car parks and farm yards
Heavy duty broom sweeper 11 1000mm fork pockets with heel pins Building sites, scrap yards and quarries

To push waste and debris to a collection point with a blade instead of a brush, there's also the forklift yard scraper, with a rubber blade and steel wearstrip in 1500mm or 1800mm widths.

The sweepers fit most forklifts. Send us your fork sizes and we'll confirm the fit. For deep snow, see our forklift snow ploughs, and to collect what you sweep, a forklift tipping skip. You can browse everything else on our forklift attachments page.

How to Choose a Forklift Sweeper

Start with the surface and the mess. Smooth indoor floors with dust and packaging scraps only need a light sweeper. Outdoor yards with mud, gravel and leaves need more bristles to move heavier material, and building sites, scrap yards and quarries need a sweeper built to take knocks. Think about how often you'll sweep too: daily use justifies a heavier model that lasts longer between bristle changes.

Economy, Medium or Heavy Duty?

The economy sweeper has 5 rows of bristles and a 3mm steel body, and clamps to the forks with T screws. The medium duty sweeper steps up to 8 rows for outdoor work. The heavy duty sweeper has 11 rows, a 5mm steel shroud and 1000mm fork pockets with heel pin retention, plus a stand to protect the bristles when it's not in use. All three sweep a 1800mm width.

Sweeper or Snow Plough?

A broom sweeper clears light snow and leaves a cleaner finish than a blade. For deep or compacted snow, a forklift snow plough moves far more in each pass. Many sites use both: the plough for the heavy work and the sweeper to finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a forklift sweeper fit my truck?

Our sweepers fit most forklifts. Send us your fork width and thickness and we'll confirm before you order.

Can the bristles be replaced?

Yes. The polypropylene bristles are replaceable, so when they wear down you swap the bristles rather than the whole sweeper. Ask us for a price on a bristle kit.

Can I add a magnet to the sweeper?

Every sweeper has built-in lugs for adding a magnetic bar or a swivel hitch later. Get in touch and we'll price the upgrade.

How long does delivery take?

Usually 7 to 10 working days. For tips on getting the best results, read our guide on how to sweep a yard with a forklift.
