Telehandler Man Riding Cage – 1400mm or 2440mm

Prices depend on your machine and the options you need, so every attachment is quoted individually.
A telehandler man riding cage gives your team a safe, enclosed platform for short-duration work at height, such as changing a light, inspecting a gutter or reaching plant that a ladder can't get to safely. It slides onto the telehandler forks through full-length fork pockets and locks in place, so the platform stays secure while the boom is raised.
The cage is designed to HSE Guidance Note PM28 for working platforms on lift trucks. It has step-through access bars, a security locking system, harness anchorage points, in-board handholds and full-height barriers at the back. The anti-slip floor has drain holes, and kick rails stop tools and fixings falling onto people below. Choose a 1400mm or 2440mm wide platform in a painted or galvanised finish, with optional bolt-on quick hitch brackets made for your telehandler.

Before You Order
Send us your telehandler make and model, its maximum lift height and your fork section, and tell us whether you want the cage on the forks or on a quick hitch bracket. A man riding cage is for occasional, non-routine access work. HSE guidance PM28 says non-integrated platforms like this aren't suitable for telehandlers that can lift higher than 6m, and industry guidance says they mustn't be used for planned tasks on construction sites, so check with your telehandler manufacturer that your machine and job are suitable. Under LOLER, equipment used to lift people must be thoroughly examined at least every six months. Read our guide to telehandler man basket rules before you order, or see forklift safety cages and UK regulations for platforms on forklifts.
