A carriage mounted drum lifter fits directly on a class 2 forklift carriage and lifts 210 litre steel drums by their rolling hoops. Because it mounts on the carriage, it keeps the drum close to the truck, which suits confined areas and tight turns.
It grips automatically, handles one drum up to 500kg and has a simple mechanical design with few moving parts.
