A crane slung drum rotator lifts a 210 litre drum and turns it to pour or empty the contents under control. It hangs from an overhead crane by its lifting eye, or slides onto forklift forks through its fork pockets, and an adjustable girdle with twin webbing ratchet straps holds the drum.
Rotation is through a gearbox: the DTR-3 has a crank handle for pouring at shoulder height, and the DTR-4 a loop chain for pouring above shoulder height. Both are rated at 360kg for steel drums and 'L' and 'XL' plastic drums.

Before You Order
Choose the crank handle if you'll pour at shoulder height, or the loop chain for higher. Check your crane or forklift can lift the rotator and a full drum together, and keep people clear while the drum turns.
Under LOLER, lifting equipment needs regular thorough examination by a competent person, and lifting accessories need one at least every six months unless an examination scheme sets a different interval, so ask your examiner which applies to you.
