A forklift false carriage, also called a dummy carriage or carriage width extender, hangs on your forklift's carriage to make it wider. That lets you spread your forks further apart, or run four forks, for oversized pallets and long or bulky loads.
It's made from 50D boron steel, which resists abrasion and cuts the wear that sliding forks cause on the top rail. It fits standard carriages, in widths from 1200mm to 2000mm and capacities from 2500kg to 8000kg, and other widths and capacities can be made on request.

Tell us your forklift make and model, carriage class and current carriage width, and the widest load you'll carry. The false carriage adds weight and moves the load slightly forward, so check your forklift's capacity with it fitted.
