A heavy duty tipping skip is built from 5mm steel for the waste that wears out a standard skip: scrap metal, rubble, offcuts and skips that are filled and tipped every day. It slides onto your forks, carries up to 1500kg depending on size, and rolls forward to empty when you pull the full-width release handle.
The 5mm body sits on a heavy-duty underframe, and twin locking mechanisms keep the skip locked even when it's loaded unevenly. A safety security chain stops it slipping off the forks, the tipping handle is bolted on so it can be replaced without welding, and pre-drilled castor plates and pull cord fixing points let you add castors or an auto release kit later. It's made in the UK in five sizes from 400 to 2000 litres.

Before You Order
Choose by weight as well as volume. Scrap and rubble are dense, so they reach the load capacity long before the skip is full. Your forklift also carries the skip itself: a full 1200 litre skip at its 1250kg limit weighs about 1520kg in total. Fitting a skip moves the load centre forward, which reduces your forklift's rated capacity, so check the truck's capacity with the skip fitted. What makes it heavy duty?
The body is 5mm steel instead of the 3mm used on the roll forward and auto release skips, on a heavy-duty underframe. It's built for scrap metal, rubble and skips that are filled and tipped every day.
How much can it carry?
1000kg in the 400 and 800 litre sizes, 1250kg in the 1200 litre size and 1500kg in the 1600 and 2000 litre sizes.
Will it fit my forklift?
It takes forks up to 150 x 60mm at an 890mm spread. Your forklift also needs enough capacity for the skip and its load with the skip fitted. Send us your forklift model and fork sizes if you're unsure.
Can I add castors or auto release later?
Yes. Pre-drilled castor plates and pull cord fixing points let you add castors or an auto release kit later. Ask us for a price.
