A rim grip drum grab picks a drum up by its top rim rather than round its body, so it can lift drums that are packed tightly together on a pallet or in a container. This one takes a single 210 litre steel drum, or a plastic drum with an 'L' or 'XL' ring, up to 750kg, and fits straight onto your forklift forks.
A steel 'parrot beak' jaw grips the rim automatically, so nobody has to clamp or strap the drum by hand. A rubber-lined crutch steadies the drum while it's lifted, which protects thin-walled drums from damage. The grab is held on the forks by heavy duty zinc-plated screw clamps, and its simple automatic action keeps maintenance to a minimum.

Before You Order
Check your drums first. The grab is made for 210 litre steel drums and plastic drums with an 'L' or 'XL' ring at the top, and because it lifts by the rim, the rim needs to be in good condition. If you're not sure your drums will suit, tell us the drum type and we'll check before you order.
Then check your forks and truck. The fork pockets take forks up to 140mm wide and 50mm thick, and the forks need to be 560mm apart, measured outside to outside. Make sure your forklift is rated for a full drum plus the weight of the grab, and ask your forklift dealer for the truck's capacity with the attachment fitted if you're unsure. Delivery is usually 7 to 10 working days.
