Prices depend on the model and options you need, so every lifting attachment is quoted individually.

A boat skip is a crane skip for unbalanced loads such as rubble, earth and construction waste. Its automatic tilting bale arm lets the crane operator run the whole lift and tip cycle alone, so nobody on the ground has to guide or tip it.

The bale arm clears the top of the skip so it's easy to fill, and the low-profile body keeps the loading height down. To empty, the skip tilts fully vertical for a quick, clean discharge. Closed side sliding guides stop sludge and rock causing blockages, the bale arm is less likely to snag on uneven ground, and the bucket is reinforced for site work.

Before You Order

Check your crane can lift the skip plus a full load at the radius you'll work at. A full BS-1000, for example, can weigh up to 2669kg (269kg for the skip plus 2400kg of load). Keep everyone out from under the skip while it's lifted and tipped.

Under LOLER, lifting equipment needs regular thorough examination by a competent person, and lifting accessories need one at least every six months unless an examination scheme sets a different interval, so ask your examiner which applies to you. Then request a quote with your crane details.
