A low profile battery changing beam is built for changing forklift batteries where headroom is tight. Four short single-leg Grade 10 chains, with clevis hooks and safety catches, connect the beam to the battery case and keep the lift as low as possible.
It slides onto the forks of the truck doing the lifting, held with T-screw clamps, and is made to suit your battery's size and lifting holes so it lifts evenly without damage. Choose 1000kg or 2000kg, for forks only or for forks and crane.

Before You Order
Each beam is made for your battery, so send us the distance between the lifting hole centres, the battery's width and height, the diameter of the lifting holes and the battery's weight. Tell us how much headroom you have, so we can confirm the beam and battery will clear it. Check your forks fit the 140 x 50mm pockets at the 295mm spread, and that the truck doing the lifting can carry the battery and beam together.
HSE advises using insulated lifting equipment for batteries, so keep the chains clear of the terminals and connectors, or ask us about the insulated battery changing beam. Under LOLER, lifting equipment needs regular thorough examination by a competent person, and lifting accessories need one at least every six months unless an examination scheme sets a different interval, so ask your examiner which applies to you.
