This underslung forklift carpet boom turns a standard forklift into a roll handler. The driver fits it by driving the forks into its fork pockets and securing it with twin heel retention pins, then lifts carpet, vinyl and other rolled or coiled products through the core. Switching back to pallets is just as quick.

The underslung design keeps the roll close to the truck, which reduces the need for a larger capacity forklift. Each boom is made to order in the UK by Contact Attachments from EN19T high-grade steel, so the roll and boom clear your forks, and a leading-edge nose cone guides the pole into the roll core without damaging the roll.

Choosing the Right Boom

Pick a pole diameter that fits inside your roll's core, with a load capacity above your heaviest roll, and a pole length to suit the roll. If you're unsure, send us your roll length, core size and weight with your forklift make and model through our quote form, and we'll confirm the right model before it's made.
