The Auger Torque S2 auger is a 900mm-long auger with a 50mm round hub for the 1200 earth drill, on micro excavators from 0.75 to 1 tonne. Choose a diameter from 100mm to 350mm with earth or tungsten teeth.

It's built for soft soils and clay through to mixed and moderately rocky ground, and even frozen ground, with shallow pitch flights, the Shock Lock tooth locking system and a heavy-duty tube.

Choosing a Diameter

Choose the hole size the job needs, within your earth drill's recommended range in the table above. A wider auger needs more torque, so a bigger hole takes a bigger drive. The auger is 900mm long, which sets how deep you can drill in one go.

S2 Auger FAQs

Which earth drills does the S2 auger fit?

The Auger Torque 1200 earth drill, which has a 50mm round output shaft.

Earth or tungsten teeth?

Earth teeth suit clay, topsoil and mixed ground. Tungsten teeth last longer in harder, abrasive and stony ground.

What diameter can my earth drill turn?

The 1200 earth drill is recommended for holes up to 300mm. Bigger holes need more torque, so stay within that range.

How deep can it drill?

The S2 auger is 900mm long, which sets how deep you can drill in one go. Ask us if you need to go deeper.
