The Auger Torque S5 auger is a 1,500mm-long auger with a 75mm square hub for 5500 MAX, 7000 MAX and 8000 MAX earth drills, on excavators up to 8 tonnes. Choose a diameter from 150mm to 1,000mm with earth, tungsten or rock teeth.
It's built for soft ground and clay through to mixed and rocky ground, and even permafrost, with shallow pitch flights, the Shock Lock tooth locking system and a heavy-duty tube.

Choosing a Diameter
Choose the hole size the job needs, within your earth drill's recommended range in the table above. A wider auger needs more torque, so a bigger hole takes a bigger drive. The auger is 1,500mm long, which sets how deep you can drill in one go.

Earth, tungsten or rock teeth?
Earth teeth suit clay, topsoil and mixed ground. Tungsten teeth last longer in harder, abrasive and stony ground. Rock teeth are for very hard and fractured rock.
What diameter can my earth drill turn?
It depends on the drive: the 5500 MAX up to 750mm; the 7000 MAX up to 900mm; the 8000 MAX up to 1,000mm. Bigger holes need more torque, so stay within your drive's range.
